UBC Data Bridge 2.1.1 capabilities

UBC Data Bridge 2.1.1 brings together data preparation, interactive workflows and automated exchange. Use these areas to find the right tool.

  • Local and cloud resources. Connect directly or through UBC Data Bridge Agent to permitted folders, databases and APIs.
  • APIs. Call external services, receive data and files, publish results for reading and provide endpoint documentation.
  • Reusable processing. A subflow returns a table to the current execution; flow calls start separate processes with parameters and data.
  • Interaction. Parameters, choices, data review and messages appear in a wizard or separate dialogs; launch buttons work in Workspace and other applications.
  • Enterprise analytics. Read and write cubes, apply transactional additions, maintain IBM Planning Analytics dimensions and run TI using parameter values.
  • Daily operations. Block groups, a formula editor, file management, schedules, concurrent runs and ordered conflicting writes.

Where to start

Open the capabilities overview to understand the system's purpose, or follow your first flow through the complete cycle from source to result.

For controlled system-to-system exchange, start with the API configuration guide: receiving data and files, calling external services, publishing results, API clients and endpoint reference pages.
