Purpose
Redis 6 or later key-value storage: table rows are keys containing a hash, JSON or string.
Connection fields
| Field | Rule and default value | Explanation |
|---|---|---|
Server (name or IP address)host | Required | Set the value according to your service configuration. |
Portport | As configured Default: 6379Range: 1–65535 | Set the value according to your service configuration. |
Database numberdb | As configured Default: 0Range: 0–15 | Set the value according to your service configuration. |
ACL user (optional)username | As configured | Set the value according to your service configuration. |
TLS encryptiontls | As configured Default: False | Set the value according to your service configuration. |
Passwordsecret | Separate protected field | The secret is not displayed after saving. An empty field in an existing connection preserves its current secret. |
Setup and validation
- Create a connection and give it a clear name.
- Complete required fields and the separate secret field.
- Run “Test” and read the diagnostics.
- Save the connection and select it in the appropriate flow block.
A successful test does not replace checking access to the required object and specific write mode.
Use in a flow
A source reads keys matching a pattern; a destination constructs a key from a template, for example budget:{{Article}}. Value format: hash, JSON or string. For string, select a value field; TTL sets the key lifetime in seconds. The write template must include a row field so all records do not overwrite one key.
