Purpose

Any database through an ODBC driver installed on the UBC Data Bridge server (unixODBC driver manager).

Connection fields

secret		Separate protected fieldThe secret is not displayed after saving. An empty field in an existing connection preserves its current secret.

Setup and validation

  1. Create a connection and give it a clear name.
  2. Complete required fields and the separate secret field.
  3. Run “Test” and read the diagnostics.
  4. Save the connection and select it in the appropriate flow block.

A successful test does not replace checking access to the required object and specific write mode.
