What is transferred

Libraries support resource export and import. Managed files and associated storage connections can be included with sources. Passwords and tokens are included only in encrypted form, protected by the archive password.

Migration procedure

  1. Prepare the required connections and sources and check their names.
  2. Export the selected objects and necessary dependencies.
  3. Open import in the target environment and review the change plan.
  4. Check each object's action: new, update, skip, copy or error.
  5. Import only the selected items.
  6. Check addresses, secrets, permissions, files and flow references before publishing.

Conflicts

Resource import applies the selected changes together or applies none of them. Names help match dependencies, but identical names do not guarantee identical purposes. Source import must not silently overwrite existing File Manager files.

After import

  • Test each connection.
  • Preview source data and ranges.
  • Check every destination and its write mode.
  • Run a flow simulation.
  • Configure permissions and automated jobs for the target environment.
