Purpose
Controls the table structure without changing values or row count. Hidden fields are not passed to subsequent blocks; visible fields can be renamed and reordered.
Inputs and outputs
One input, in, and one output, out. The result contains the same rows with the selected fields.
Parameters
| Parameter | Settings and values | Options and limits |
|---|---|---|
hidden | Fields to remove from the result. | Count: 0–16384 |
order | The order of visible fields. Fields not listed are appended in their original order. | Count: 0–16384 |
renames | field → name pairs for renaming visible fields. | Count: 0–16384 |
Step-by-step configuration
- Read the input fields.
- Mark unnecessary fields as hidden.
- Drag fields by their handle or use the up/down arrows.
- Enter new names where clearer headings are needed. Review the result and references in subsequent blocks.
Rules and diagnostics
- At least one visible field must remain.
- Result names must be unique, non-empty and must not use the __bridge_ prefix.
- A missing column in hidden or an active renames entry causes SOURCE_COLUMNS_MISSING. A column missing only from order is skipped.
- Two columns cannot receive the same name; hide the extra column or change its rename rule.
Configuration example
From the ProductCode, ProductName, InternalNote, Value table, hide InternalNote, rename ProductCode to Product, and set the order to ProductCode, ProductName, Value. Output: Product, ProductName, Value.
