Your files, connected to every workflow
Keep working files in the cloud or on your own server. Upload and preview them, connect them to workflows and collect the results in one place — with version history and a clear record of changes.
Files go straight into workflows and results come back
A change of filename does not break a configured connection
Version history shows what changed and who changed it
Work with files directly, in one place
Upload, find and preview files without first downloading them to your computer. Organise them in folders, mark favourites and see where a file is used. Deploy the library with Data Bridge in the cloud or on your own server.
- Folders, search, favourites and a recycle bin
- Preview spreadsheet sheets, cells and saved ranges
- See file properties and connected sources
Keep the history. Bring back the right version.
Each replacement creates a new version of the same managed file. Inspect or download an earlier version, or restore it as the current one. The history records the person or workflow run behind a change; retention settings control how many versions are kept.
- Preview and download saved versions
- Restore a previous version without reconnecting the source
- See when a change was made and where it came from
A new upload. The same reliable connection.
In a workflow step configured to update a linked file, an uploaded file is saved as its next version. For example, actuals_october.xlsx can update the managed file Actuals.xlsx. The connection identifies the destination; it does not rely on guessing from the filename. Workflows can also save their output back to the library.
- A stable file connection across new uploads
- New versions created by configured workflow updates
- Source files and generated results in one library
Let files travel between your systems
Build a workflow that receives files from connected storage, processes them and delivers the result. Run it on a schedule or through a configured trigger. Connect Google Drive, OneDrive, S3, FTP and network folders, or authorised folders on a user’s computer through UBC Agent.
- Cloud and local storage in one route
- Repeatable transfers instead of manual copying
- Configured access, checks and a visible execution result
Your questions, answered.
How to connect your data, manage access and get started.
What happens if the uploaded filename changes?
If the upload step updates a linked managed file, Data Bridge saves the upload as a new version of that file. The configured connection determines the destination.
Can I recover an earlier file?
Yes. Preview, download or restore versions retained under your file storage settings. Deleted files can also be recovered from the recycle bin before permanent deletion.
Does storage synchronisation happen automatically?
After you configure the connections, transfer workflow and schedule or trigger. The workflow determines which files are read, updated and delivered.
